ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES. In order to enter the Contest (defined below), you must agree to comply with these Official Rules (“Official Rules” or “Rules”). Therefore, please read these Official Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes agreement to these Official Rules and by participating in the Contest, you accept these terms. You may not submit an entry to the Contest and are not eligible to receive the prizes described in these Rules unless you agree to these Rules. These Rules form a binding legal agreement between you and Google (defined below) with respect to the Contest. The Contest is intended for residents of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland (‘UK’) only and shall be construed and evaluated according to English law.
1. Eligibility:
In order to enter the Contest (defined below), you must agree to comply with these Official Rules ("Official Rules" or "Rules"). Therefore, please read these Official Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes agreement to these Official Rules and by participating in the Contest, you accept these terms. You may not submit an entry to the Contest and are not eligible to receive the prizes described in these Rules unless you agree to these Rules. These Rules form a binding legal agreement between you and Google (defined below) with respect to the Contest.
The Contest is intended for residents of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland (‘UK’) only and shall be construed and evaluated according to English law.
The Contest is held by Google Commerce Limited, whose registered office is at 70 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, D02 R296, Ireland (“Google”).
2. Contest Period:
The Kick With Pixel giveaway (the “Contest”) begins at 00:00 BST on June 11th, 2024 and ends at 23:59 BST on July 2nd, 2024 (the “Contest Period”).
3. How to Enter:
To enter the Competition, you need to visit the “Kick With Pixel” digital experience. You can access this experience via a link provided by Google Store here.
Within the experience you will be able to:
- Customise your player name and country (for display purposes only).
- Play the football game and achieve a high score.
- Submit your email address after gameplay to enter the prize draw.
- (Optional) Share your high score on social media.
3.1 All entries must be submitted during the Contest Period. Any Entries made after this time will be void.
3.2 You may enter the Contest as many times as you like, but you can only win one prize.
3.3 By submitting an Entry, you acknowledge and agree that your Submission is voluntary and made without restriction.
4. Customer Entries:
4.1 You must be a legal resident of the United Kingdom and aged eighteen (18) or above on the date of entry.
4.2 Employees, directors, officers, representatives, and agents of Google, its affiliates, subsidiaries, marketing partners, and their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings) are not eligible to enter.
5. Prizes:
5.1 Google will award Prizes (as defined below) to Entrants.
Winners will be chosen at random based on the top eighty (80) highest scores on the leaderboard at the end of the Contest Period.
- Fifty (50) winners of a £50 discount promotional code.
- Fourteen (14) pairs of Stadium Tour tickets to visit Wembley Stadium.
- Ten (10) separate Play on Pitch opportunities on September 11th 2024 at 13:30 to 16:00. Winners will be able to bring up to two (2) guests to enjoy a 'Play Like The Pride' Experience at St George's Park (England's training ground) and includes a variety of on-pitch activities with St George's Park coaches. Lunch on the day will be included with details on meeting point included in winner emails. Expenses and travel to the venue is not included.
- One (1) Open Training session. The Prize is for one (1) person only and up to four (4) guests. The Session will be held during Season 2 after July 2024 and during the next international window following the Euro's 2024 tournament. The specific date will be confirmed at least seven (7) days prior to the session.The Winner will be notified by email within two (2) days of being selected. The Winner must accept the Prize within seven (7) days of notification by replying to the winner announcement email and form. If the Winner does not accept the Prize within the allotted timeframe, the Prize may be forfeited and awarded to another entrant. The Winner must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to attend the Session. The Organiser reserves the right to change the date, time, or location of the Session due to unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, the Organiser will use reasonable efforts to notify the Winner as soon as possible. The Session may be filmed and photographed by the Organiser for promotional purposes. By attending the Session, the Winner agrees to be filmed and photographed and for their image to be used for such purposes. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or illness suffered by the Winner as a result of attending the Session, except to the extent such loss or damage cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Winners will be selected randomly from entries and contact details submitted within Kick With Pixel during the campaign period (00:00 BST on June 11th 2024 - 23:59 BST on July 2nd 2024). Winners will be contacted by July 25th 2024.
5.2 In the event the winner cannot attend the Play on Pitch opportunity or Open Training session, they may not resell the prize and notify Google immediately, Google will not be responsible for finding a replacement participant.
5.3 Neither Google nor its Partners are responsible for any change in the Entrant's email address or physical address. If any Prize correspondence is returned as undeliverable, or if no reply is received from the winner within a reasonable timeframe, or if a winner is otherwise disqualified for any reason, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected for the applicable prize. Unclaimed Prizes will not be awarded.Google reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another entrant if the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification. Google will make a reasonable number of attempts to contact the winner via email.
5.4 Chances of being selected as a winner are dependent on the total number of Submissions received in the contest during the campaign period. Winners for all prizes will be chosen after the campaign period ends. Winners will be selected at random from valid entries submitted during the designated campaign period (00:00 BST on June 12th 2024 - 23:59 BST on July 2nd 2024). Each qualified entrant who submits a valid entry has an equal chance of being chosen for one (1) prize.
5.5 Becoming a winner is subject to validation and verification of eligibility and compliance with these Rules by Google in its sole discretion.
5.6 All expenses not specifically set forth herein are the winners’ sole responsibility.
5.7 Google is not responsible for any costs associated with prize winner (or accompanying guests) travel to and from the venue for the Play on Pitch opportunity or Open Training session.
5.8 Google Promotional Codes may be earned by Entrants through various promotions, contests, or other Google-sanctioned activities as defined by Google. These general terms of service apply when a promotional code is offered by Google LLC or its affiliates (“Google”), or by third parties in partnership with Google toward the purchase of a device, accessory, or other items sold solely from the Google Store. Such promotional codes are a discount off price for up to the promotional amount, are not stored value, are for one-time use only, cannot be transferred to other users, are not reloadable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and have no balance after one-time use. All promotional codes must be redeemed within the specified term of the promotional offer period or value will expire upon the specified expiration date. Google and its third party partners if applicable, are not liable for lost or stolen promotional codes, or for expired promotional codes that are not redeemed within the redemption period. To be eligible, user must be a resident of the country of the promotional offer, age 18 or older, to redeem value. Terms subject to applicable laws. Void where prohibited. Promotional code and redemption instructions will be emailed to you if you are a winner of this Contest. Available to UK residents (excludes Northern Ireland) with UK shipping addresses, aged 18 or older. Codes are one-time use only, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or cash equivalent, and have no balance after one-time use. You must be signed in to your Google Account to redeem this offer. Coupon promotional code must be redeemed by the date listed in the email sent to you or it will expire.
6. Intellectual Property and Publicity Rights:
By accepting a Prize, Entrant agrees to Google and its agencies' use of his or her name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
7. General Rules:
7.1 Google’s decisions with respect to the application of these rules are final and binding in all respects.
7.2 By entering the Contest, you agree to receive emails from Google related to the Contest. Any personal data collected in relation to the Contest will be processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
7.3 As a condition of entering a Submission into the Contest, all Entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Google and its Affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with (a) technical malfunction or other problem relating to the Contest, including submitting a Submission or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Contest; (b) any error in the collection, processing, or retention of entry information; (c) the receipt, ownership or use of prize awarded or (d) any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of the prizes. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in the Contest or use or redemption of the prizes. THIS RELEASE DOES NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH CAUSED BY THE GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF GOOGLE.
7.4 By submitting a Submission, Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.
7.5 Submissions will be deemed to have been made by the authorised account holder of the e-mail address or social media handle, as applicable, used at the time of Submission. "Authorised account holder" of an e-mail address or social media handle, as applicable, is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address or social media handle, as applicable, by an Internet Access provider, Online Service provider, social media platform, or other organisation (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses or social media handles, as applicable, for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address or social media handle, as applicable.
7.6 Google reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant from the Contest if, in Google’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the Entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other entrants, Google, or any judges.
7.7.The Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Contest which may limit the ability to participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Submissions in the Contest. Submissions generated by script or bot are not eligible.
7.8 Google reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it cannot be completed as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or corruption of any sort. In such an event, Google will determine the winners from among eligible Submissions received (if any) prior to cancellation according to the scoring details specified above.
7.9 Google reserves the right to award fewer than the stated number of available prizes in the event an insufficient number of eligible Submissions are received for a particular prize.
8. Privacy
8.1 Entrant acknowledges and agrees that Google may collect, store, share and otherwise use personally identifiable information provided during the registration process and the Contest, including, but not limited to, name, email address Google will use this information in accordance with its Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), including for administering the contest, verifying Entrant’s identity and processing prize winner information.
8.2 Entrant’s information may also be transferred to countries outside the United Kingdom in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
8.3 Entrant has the right to request access, review, rectification or deletion of any personal data held by Google in connection with the Contest by writing to Google Commerce Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
9. Not An Offer Or Contract Of Employment:
Under no circumstances shall any Submission, awarding of a prize, or anything in these Official Rules be construed as an offer or contract of employment with either Google or its Affiliates. You acknowledge that you have submitted your Submission voluntarily and not in confidence or in trust. You acknowledge that no confidential, fiduciary, agency or other relationship or implied-in-fact contract now exists between you and Google or its Affiliates and that no such relationship is established by your Submission under these Official Rules.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
10.1 These Official Rules are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Entire Agreement:
These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Contest and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
12. Severability:
If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Waiver:
No waiver by Google of any breach of any provision of these Official Rules shall be deemed a waiver of any prior or subsequent breach.

15. Limitation of Liability.
AS A CONDITION OF PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, ENTRANT AGREES THAT: (1) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN LEGAL AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES; (2) ALL CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST, OR PRIZE AWARDED, SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; AND (3) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARD SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ENTRANT BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR OTHER LEGAL COSTS.
